in Taipei

I went to Taipei on the return way to research about media art in Taiwan. The media art scene in Taipei is very active. There are many sound art events here and probably a city-organized media art center will be opened next year.
Although the city of Taipei is quite different from Hong Kong, however,I like the atmosphere. I didn't forget to eat Taiwanese food. TASTY!

The Taipei National Uiversity of the Arts and Prof. Yuan.
I met media art people at the Taipei National University of the Arts, included Prof. Yuan and Yung-Ta. I had a lecture and introduced our art center's activities. I saw high-motivated students there.
I couldn't go to the Palace Museum this time too. I've visited some times, although I've never gone to there as well as the Peak in Hong Kong. I must go back to do only sight seeing.

in Hong Kong 1

I finally reached to Hong Kong after I have been two years ago.
I realized how I love the toughness and heart of this city. I really like the mix of the air of urban and Asian energy (food!). Also I love Star Ferry. I love vehicle which isn't belong to anyplace, like ship or ropeway. I found an amazing ropeway at Ocean Park this time. It's increditable sights from it.

nice food and meeting in Seoul
I came to Seoul to have a presentation. I realized that I must re-think about how to show web/interactive arts at art museum from different aspects. The meeting 404 was very fruitful in the unexpected way.

Also I enjoyed a Korean food with Soojin at a local restaurant, Hongdaeapk.
